(MacOS Classic only. Runs on OSX via the OSX's inbuilt Classic emulator) Update: 4 / 3 / 2006. This product has been made public domain, and discontinued. You can continue to download Email Cleaner and use it, but I am no longer supporting or developing it, with the exception of supporting users who have already bought a copy. One reason for this is that I have other projects I am developing, and supporting Email Cleaner detracts from my ability to work on those other projects. It is a shame, because in it's days, in the MacOS9 era, Email Cleaner was a great and handy little utility. Unfortunately MacOSX killed off Email Cleaner by virtue of the "Mail" app not giving the quote marks to Email Cleaner, to clean. It keeps the quote marks to itself, but does not pass them to any other app. This meant that converting Email Cleaner to MacOSX was pointless. That was the second reason I am making Email Cleaner public domain. Here is a serial number for you to use Email Cleaner: Name="Public", SN="EMCL-Z4DV-VDIM-BAAB-YTKC". |
What Email Cleaner doesEmail Cleaner does line re-wrapping on badly wrapped emails and NewsGroup-posts. Badly wrapped lines is a problem every Internet User comes across, Email Cleaner solves it. Email Cleaner has other features: Wrapping to any width, adding / removing quotes, adding spaces before each line, turning HTML to text, extensive AppleScriptability. Take a closer look to see what it does. Why Email Cleaner is good
Also features HTML file shrinkingEmail Cleaner batch shrinks folders of HTML files, removing un-needed lines and spaces. It knows to avoid pictures, programs and other non-text files. All my websites use Email Cleaner and no other program for HTML shrinking. Who else thinks Email Cleaner is goodEmail Cleaner got a 5
out of 5 rating from Tucows,
a large shareware distributor.
